Jim Erickson & Bob Karasch (PBJ Records & Wacara Recording Studios) were invited to attend the Grammy (NARAS; National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences) presentation of 17-time Grammy winner Al Schmitt at the Austin City Limits soundstage.Al has won Grammys for Barbra Streisand's The Way We Were,Steely Dan Aja,Natalie Cole Unforgettable,Frank Sinatra Duets,Diana Krall all albums,Jefferson Airplane,Anita Baker,The Pink Panther,The Carpenters 5.1 surround mix,Bonnie Raitt,Ray Charles,Madonna,150 Gold & Platinum albums.We had the opportunity to ask Al & Rupert about our studios and get their firsthand advice!

Matt Erickson Matt is currently lead guitarist for THE DRAMA.They were flown to NY and LA to showcase for every major label and are in negotiations at the moment.You should hear big things from them very soon.You can check them out at THE DRAMA Matts new 80HD album will be released soon on PBJ!Matt flew to Nashville to record at Paul Overstreet's (writer"Love Can Build a Bridge"-The Judds, 5-time BMI Writer of The Year, Grammy winner)studio.He played drums, bass on Nash Overstreets new album.Paul had many nice things to say about Matt. Matt played, produced, recorded, and ran a 4-camera video shoot of "Inside the Outside" in Florida.The band perfromed thier final concert, with old favorites from thier first album, new unheard songs, and acoustic performances.Fans were online and made the trip to Florida for this event.The CD & DVD will be finished soon and released on PBJ Records.In addition we hope to put out the original album that is no longer available. Matt's remix of The David Crowder Bands' "Open Skies" is now in stores!! The cd titled "Sunsets & Sushi" experiments in aural deconstruction-David Crowder Band is now available and getting great reviews!
Matt played with the band "PLUMB" on CURB Records, home to Tim McGraw,Wynonna,Lee Ann Rimes.PLUMB is a female artist that Amy Lee of Evanescence has listed as an influence. PLUMB has written songs for several films including "Bruce Almighty" and television shows including "Tarzan", and produced American Idol Kimberly Locke's new album.They recorded exclusive tracks for XM Satellite Radio,MTV Radio and VH-1 Radio.The band is currently in the studio finishing up thier new album and getting ready to tour.
